Run 1354 – Chez Mezza Sunday 22nd June
Hares – Ever Ready/F.D.
After getting piss wet through laying the trail Saturday,I tidied up the trail first thing as Mezza was competing the in Leeds 10k and doing pretty well too. Instead of rain 24 hrs later we had Leeds Hurricane weather.
Loads of hashers pitched up for hashing,boozing and that weird English game of cricket. Pity our visitor from the States couldn’t come-could have had some fun explaining the rules.
Short one hour max trail,mostly off road through the environs of Headlingley,then back for chilli and millions of down downs,couresy of Mezzas hash beer.Almost everyone got a down down for various offences and Love Muscle had the bad luck to loose his passport,and sme good luck in having to go to the magnificent city that is Liverpool for a new one first thing Monday morning.
Cricketing hashers left early,and thanks to mobiles all managed to meet up in there eventually-great match,ended in a tie with a six off the last ball. Lots of Guinness,Mexican waves,piss taking,lottery on each innings score. Twilight managed to fall asleep,F.D.came in her red dress.Flossie dad had half a dozen Guinness,Highland Fling managed to win the cricket lottery getting the score right so got back £7 after her £580 theft the other day-not a bad guess for a Shetland girl from farming stock living in Ghana
We all walked back to Magnum’s for more food drink courtesy of Twilight and Magnum-delicious lentil curry – toilet look out.
