YH3 Run No.1238 –Sunday June 11th.
Venue – The Salutation,Doncaster
Hare – The one and only Yogi.

What a challenge for the Hash –running in 80F heat after a party that went on till 3 a.m. – Still, the liver is evil and has to be punished as Pints reminds us. Good training for Chiangmai though.
A small turnout was swelled by a couple of returners from Yogi’s patch, plus a couple of pushbikers who we thought were tailing the hash on a secret mission or something of that nature. Turned out they were more mates of the Yoge. Pissed and Broke was also over from Cyprus on a Rivet mission.
Yogi shanghaied Love Muscle to help him set the trail on bikes and a good trail it was covering road, park, horse racing tracks, flea markets, bridges, pub stops and loads of chat with puzzled looking householders.
Good job it was a Sunday as we were allowed a pub stop –can’t remember the name of it but that’s no surprise as I couldn’t find the pub – ran straight past it half a mile to the Carribean Hotel and back. Thanks to Stick for buying us a pint.
Post-run back at the Salutation the landlady put on a superb spread – thought Jamie Oliver and his mates had been press-ganged by Yogi into doing the nosh.
Yogi – great venue, good trail and by all accounts great party.
Down-downs.
Matilda did his usual top stint and the following bounders received d/d’s.
Hares – Matilda and Love Muscle
Annie Berlin – only walked 42 miles the previous day – what a slouch.
Martin and Trevor – Yogi’s pals who doubled their hash runs – nearly new boots.
Sweetbreads – Most promising hasher of the year – comes on her own as well – however she was downed for a most heinous crime – castrating a Ferret. Tommy 2 Lips has contacted the Oswaldtwistle mafia and put a contract out on her employing the deadly services of the Black Pudding Hash. Be careful, Sweetbreads.
Love Muscle – T-shirt abuse and 50 runs – well done mate.
Ever-Ready – what a runner, down downed for going to the Carribean and back in one afternoon. Good job the hash did not find out about the air conditioning story – took the car to be garage as the a/c system was totalled in the hot weather – I’d only had it on on economy all week – pillock.
Leanne and John – John christened Wazok on 1st run down downed for biking.
Yogi – birthday boy
Yvonne – No. 1 Land Lady –what a spread.
