Directions: From Leeds On A61 towards Harrogate. turn Right at roundabout onto the Harrogate bypass A658. Carry straight on at roundabout with A661 and take the next left turn. Follow this road down and over the river and up the hill. Turn left after the pedestrian crossing. There are car parks on both sides (Free up to 1pm) or you can park in the market place if there is room. The back of the pub is straight ahead (the front is in the market place!) You can also get there by bus or train. Those two Cheeky Monkeys are gigging on the Saturday night at this top Knaresborogh venue to celebrate their birthdays and laying a really top class trail for your enjoyment, don't miss it - this one is going to be cracker! Eugene the landlord has organised Black Sheep as he knows you ain't keen on JS. Can anyone coming on the train let JT know so that arrangements can be made. |

Park in side roads or in Kirkstall Leisure Centre which is immediately before the pub. It's almost Magnum's 900th run and Wheel's 1100th run so this is a special 2000th anniversary run !!! It is on a Saturday as it is a great pub crawl around the area. This year we will donate the money raised to the Manorlands Hospice, up the road in Oxenhope. Turn right at traffic lights on the slip road (Stainbeck Road) leaving the Esso Garage on your left. At the T junction turn left and Root Mansions are 1/2 mile on your left, at the junction of Kings Croft Gardens. Take the 2, 3, 3A or 36 buses and get off at Kingsway Court, opposite the Stainburn parade of shops and new Sainsburys local. Henry Root's 71st Birthday Bash and it will be a stonkin good do!!!
