It is the Dales Beer Festival over the period 9 - 11 October 2009, there will be lots od Dales beers on offer and promises to be a cracking beer drinking weekend - they do have lagers and belgian lagers as well.
There is a proper campsite that needs to be booked just over the road from the Craven Arms - book in at www.masoncampsite.co.uk - it has good facilities including showers!!
the weekend will consist of
Friday night arrive and settle into the campsite and hit the pub........
Saturday is optional - the cyclists can go and do a cycle trail, the walkers can
go on a local walk then down downs in the pub............
Sunday is hash run day 1428 and Rambo and Gobbler should be laying the trail.
Get yer tents/caravans out and come along and enjoy the end of autumn weather up in the dales with guaranteed good food and ale.
It is suggested early booking in the campsite and I will check out the beer festival and what happens there. Mangy mutts are allowed!!
There is another pub (The New Inn next door as well that serves real ale and good food and has accommodation for those not wanting to camp, Burnsall Bridge is also very close by and has accommodation so over to you. The New Inn also has a Cycle shop for repairs etc etc and the landlord leads cycle trails as well so perhaps its worth another recce to find out about this.

At end, junction with Water Lane, go left then immediate right into David St, then 2nd left and The Grove is straight ahead at end of Back Row. (NB no vehicular access from main road)
